Clockwork Collapse is a mystery-driven, discovery‑focused text RPG set in Chronvale — a sprawling clockwork city powered by the Meridian Engine, a monumental engine that quietly governs the flow of time.

Recently, time has begun to slip. At first, it’s subtle: clocks drift, people misremember yesterday, streets feel slightly out of place. But with each passing day, the anomalies grow stranger and more dangerous, revealing fractures in reality itself.

You are one of the few who can perceive these inconsistencies. As the world destabilizes around you, you must investigate the growing temporal cracks, uncover the hidden histories of Chronvale’s factions, and unravel the deeper truth behind the city’s dependence on the Meridian Engine.

V0.1.0 - Demo Release

This is my first crack at a text-based game, and a game in python.
As part of my learning journey I decided to create this game as my first personal project. I enjoyed it a lot and decided I want to keep working on this.

Many things are subject to change in upcoming releases, so your feedback (or criticism) is much appreciated (please be constructive ).

Save files are saved in the folder where you put the .exe file, so keep that in mind.
